We have approximately 300 employees and 46 partners and operate from two offices in the heart of two cities; Bristol and London, and generate a turnover of approximately £22m. Our Bristol and London base, and use of technology enable us to offer competitive charging rates nationally.

The training and development of all our staff members is at the heart of everything we do.

We were the first major legal practice in the South West to achieve an Investors in People standard back in 1996 and have continued to maintain that standard ever since. In order to have a benchmark of quality control and assessment, we have adopted the Law Society’s practice management standards as our statements of good practice and were also awarded Lexcel accreditation in January 2004, becoming one of only 20 major law firms to achieve this demanding accolade.

We have an excellent track record of internal career progression with 8 of our current partners being past trainees of the Firm. This is not limited to the lawyers, our Business Centre Manager was a legal secretary when she joined the Firm 20 years ago. Training and Development

When joining us, all employees are thoroughly trained in the Firm's IT systems and internal procedures. We feel it is vital to make new employees feel valued and involved from Day 1 and new joiners have repeatedly congratulated us on the excellent induction programme that we operate.

Once you have completed your induction and probation you will be formally appraised annually and then quarterly, on an informal basis through the Firm's Personal Development Review process. During this process your training and development needs will be identified and these will be included in your department’s training plans.

We have a Training and Development manager who works closely with all of the training partners to ensure we are investing training resources effectively. We offer a comprehensive programme to include both technical and soft-skills training.
