Principal Investigator
We are seeking experienced researchers with a proven ability to direct field research and write up results for our terrestrial and marine research programmes. The successful candidates will have a good MSc or a PhD in a relevant discipline, publications, and a significant amount of biodiversity or conservation research experience, ideally in a tropical setting.
The role will include developing and implementing the research programme, involving the daily supervision of volunteer Research Assistants, data collection and analysis, and report-writing.

Project Coordinator
To oversee the logistical and administrative aspects of the field camp. This involves supervision of the field budgets, project resources and equipment, and overall responsibility for the general welfare of all staff and volunteers on and off the project site.

Teaching & Community Project Coordinator
We are seeking experienced project leaders with a proven ability to coordinate volunteers, to manage and develop the Frontier Teaching & Community Projects in Ghana, Tanzania and Fiji. This will involve arranging placements and logistics, managing volunteers, administering the project and budgets, liaising and negotiating with local organisations and partners and taking responsibilty for the overall running of the programme.

Dive Officer - Marine Research Programmes
Required to manage all diving operations associated with the Marine Research Programme, including the supervision of daily diving and in-water activities and to ensure the proper maintenance of all dive equipment and boats.
Positions available for 6 or 12 months. We are also taking applications for later in the year.

Assistant Research Officer
Self-funded positions available for those with less experience who would like to add to their field experience and possibly progress to a funded position.
The role involves assisting the Principal Investigator with the development and implementation of the research programme, involving the daily supervision of volunteer Research Assistants, data collection and analysis, and report-writing.

Eco-Trail Leader
To lead mobile volunteer travel and conservation experiences and oversee all the logistical and administrative aspects of the expedition. This involves supervision of the budget, project resources and equipment, overall responsibility for the general welfare of all staff and volunteers.

Are you an undergraduate or postgraduate? We’re looking for personable and enthusiastic candidates to represent Frontier at our many events around the world. We need self motivated student reps to help organise venues, create interest and generate awareness of talks and presentations at universities across the globe. You would be co-ordinating term time promotions and liaising with relevant academics at your university.
