We recognise that choosing a career is one of the most important decisions of your life, and involves a considerable amount of research. An internship with the Palmarium Group is designed to help you make the right decision, and is ideal for students interested in combining genuine commercial experience with an understanding of what it would be like to join one of the companies within the Palmarium Group when they graduate. You will have the opportunity to discover the Palmarium culture, offices and working environment whilst finding out more about the Headhunting industry.
We will give you the chance to work within one of the companies in the group, focusing on a niche market area, where you will be part of a team and assisting senior consultants and managers. Interns will all get a practical understanding of the role of Headhunter. You will be invited to assist on live roles and and mandates, researching and mapping out the market areas in which we work, and providing analysis of different companies and sectors. Client and candidate contact is also encouraged, and you will have the opportunity to accompany senior consultants on external meetings.
This is challenging work but it is also highly rewarding. Most importantly, it will enable you to make a career decision based on experience.
We offer flexible internship dates over the Summer, and can accommodate holidays as well. Within your first couple of weeks, you will attend a training course in London with other interns and trainees, which will give you the necessary skills and tools for getting the most out of your internship. Subjects covered include market knowledge on the area in which you are working in, sales and relationship building skills, and will involve a number of different training techniques including role plays and Q&A sessions with Managing Directors. Graduates from recent years are always on hand to guide you through, and you will find that, as part of a team, you get plenty of support. You'll also receive support from your own assigned mentor who will be on call to provide career development advice.
Your Internship with us gives a chance to get to know you. If the Internship goes well, we shall offer you an interview for a place on the next year's Graduate Programme.
