Graduate Entry

The fast-track career progression that we offer is both realistic and achievable, demonstrated by the fact that all our current Lead Consultants and Managers joined the Palmarium Group as a trainee. A combination of our guidance and training, and their hard work and determination, has meant we are able to offer them fantastic opportunities early on in their careers - the chance to head up new teams and divisions, or take our our brands overseas in order to increase our global presence.

As a trainee, your main role will be to assist your team with their live roles and mandates, by identifying and speaking to suitable candidates. This will ensure that your market knowledge and headhunting skills are constantly improving. It is a steep learning curve, but with the support of your team and our in-house trainer, your aim will be to become a junior consultant within three - six months.

Although our training and development programme continues throughout your entire career with us, it is during your first year that training is most intensive, with frequent on and off desk training, and one to ones with your Lead Consultant. All trainees are paired up with a mentor, to facilitate their smooth progression to the next level, and encourage them to immerse themselves in the company culture. However,whilst we offer support at every corner, the emphasis is still on the individual to demonstrate determination, tenacity and personal development.

Entry Requirements

You don't need a business-related degree to join us but you do need to demonstrate the intellectual ability necessary to understand complex markets and succeed in our demanding environment. Certain degrees may indicate a predisposition towards a certain business area e.g. legal but we are more interested in finding if you have a personal preference towards working in a particular market. If you do, please make sure that you indicate this on your application form.

Due to the global platform on which we operate, we are always interested in hearing from graduates with language skills.

Previous sales experience is useful but by no means a pre-requisite - however, natural sales ability and flair are. The graduates that are successful at interview are the ones that impress us with their drive and determination, their rapport building skills and willingness to learn.

Interview Process

Once we have received your application, you will be contacted by one of our Recruitment team for an informal telephone interview. If that is successful then you will be invited for a face-to-face interview. We operate a 3 stage interview process, however stage 2 and 3 may be done on the same day.
