We are looking for an experienced waiter to join our team at St Michaels Manor, a deluxe four star hotel situated in St Albans.
The Lake Restaurant at St Michael's Manor offers the most scenic dining experience in Hertfordshire. The beautifully decorated Orangery and dining room overlook our own fabulous private garden and lake.
Potential applicants will be capable of fulfilling the roles and responsibilities below:
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Service at table of Food and Drink.
• Preparation of Restaurant and ancillary areas.
• Restaurant and Function Room Housekeeping.
• Recording and communication of charges.
• Promoting good PR with guests at all times.

• To provide a professional food service at all times and to constantly improve upon your work performance.

In addition, we are looking for a part time Receptionist at St Michael’s Manor to join a team of four.
Close to the centre of the ancient Roman city of St Albans, and near the famous cathedral, this magnificent town-house hotel is set in 5 acres of beautiful English country gardens, with its own one acre lake.
Our 30 rooms are individually styled, many of which overlook the lake and gardens. The room designs are a blend of classical and elegant decor creating a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
JOB SCOPE
The manning of the Hotel's Reception and switchboard and meeting customer requirements.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greeting and checking in and checking out of Hotel guests.
• Accurate control of all billing for all hotel charges incurred through front office system.
• Answering switchboard and passing on calls.
• Taking of reservations for accommodation and restaurant.
• Providing customer information and general PR at all times.
• To deal with brochure enquiries.
