VACANCY FOR TRAINEE GARDENER
£13,000 per annum

A permanent full time vacancy for a Trainee Gardener has arisen. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Looking for enthusiastic applicant with horticultural knowledge/experience seeking career in horticulture. Regular duties include mowing, strimming, weeding, pruning and generally tidying client’s gardens with varied extra horticultural jobs. Challenging and physically demanding job. Work to a schedule. On the job training will be given.
We will require the right applicant to be quick to learn and familiarise themselves with the client’s gardens and read/research any plants not familiar with in order to be able to care for them correctly. Must be well organised and efficient, must be able to communicate well and liase with clients.
Duties also include lawn treatments three times a year. Will also be put on separate projects from time to time, and also may be asked to help out on landscaping projects. Any experience on this would be well received but is not a necessity. May be required to drive company van so must have full drivers licence. Will require own transport to get to yard based in Kings Langley at the start/finish of day. Usual days worked are Monday to Friday, however occasionally in extreme weather conditions may need to work on a Saturday to make up time for being rained/snowed off during week, however this is not a regular occurrence. Uniform supplied. Good prospects for right applicant.

43 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Looking for enthusiastic applicant with horticultural knowledge/experience seeking career in horticulture. Regular duties include mowing, strimming, weeding, pruning and generally tidying client’s gardens with varied extra horticultural jobs. Challenging and physically demanding job. Work to a schedule. On the job training will be given.
